Daniel Price is a novelist and media critic living in Los Angeles. In addition to appearing on numerous local and national radio shows, including Counterspin and NPR's Marketplace, he's been a guest on Democracy Now with Amy Goodman and on CNN's Reliable Sources with Howard Kurtz. You can see the Quicktime video of his CNN appearance here.

When he's not promoting SLICK or researching his second novel, he works as a research consultant for the nonprofit Center for Media and Democracy (CMD). Along with CMD's Diane Farsetta, he is the co-author of Fake TV News: Widespread and Undisclosed, a multimedia report that exposes the deceptive use of sponsored video news releases (VNRs) by local TV newscasts.
